Default Recommend a good straight to video movie

Just watched a straight to video movie called Gabriel and thought it was very good and was wondering what other gems I may be missing. Please recommend some good ones you have seen.
(Also include movies that may have had a very limited theatrical run)

I'm not positive it it went straight to video...but i don't remember it in the theaters. It's called "Beowulf & Grendel" and stars Gerald Butler of 300 fame. It was before he became famous...in the USA at least. I really liked it! WAAAAY better than the animated one!

+1 - Gives the period "realistic" version of the story, while also keeping it in the fantasy element.

Most of the DC animated superhero titles are arguably as good or better than Lionsgate's Marvel titles, including LG's original-cast animated Hellboy followups.

Universal Soldier: Regeneration is just about the best DTV movie I've ever seen. I've yet to see Trick 'r Treat though.

as whole i think the DC dtv animated movies are FAR better than the Marvel ones. in my opinion the only Marvel ones that stand out are the wolverine half of Hulk vs. and Planet Hulk. with DC i though Green Lantern First Flight, Wonder Woman and Batman Gotham Knight were fantastic and the mediocre DC titles like Public Enemies and New Frontier are better than almost all of the other Marvel ones.

I don't know if Moon had a theatrical release and if it did I doubt it was a wide release. I watched it a few weeks ago and thought it was outstanding. Best blind rental I have seen in several months.

Had an arthouse release, not that anyone (or the Oscar committee) would have noticed--
Paranormal Activity, though, got a wide release "Because you demanded it!"

Gabriel was not straight to video. I would recommend the futurama films (especially the first one).
