Universal was the distributor of the film, and probably holds some overseas rights

USA rights are DreamWorks, now Paramount

Dreamworks went to Paramount, so there is a very high chance we could see this on BD.

Easy does it man. Noobie's a supporter naturally asking a common question about a highly anticipated release and is probably less familiar with surfin' through reams of threads. It's all good noob -- we want it too!!! Gladiator's right up there with the best Paramount has to offer and it would easily be a top 10 high def seller if it were made available later this year. You have to know following Warner's recent press release re: 300's sales in high def, many of the other studios are now busy revectoring their plans for high def releases of their potential heavy weights...

you know, I was being humorous but apparently you don't like my humour. And as you said, I'm a "mod" (Thanks to Ringo!) so I'm the one who has to merge Gladiator 52 times a year

and I found it humorous not that it repeats, but that it runs the same script
