Anyone pick this up yet. I have never seen but I loved other football movies such as Remember the Titans, We Are Marshall, and Invincible. How does this one rank to these and is the Blu worth buying? I saw the review but would like your opinions as well.

I have not watched it yet but I will be later today. I got it from Netflix last night but I wasn't home to watch it. I like most football movies too so I can't wait to watch it. I'll reply later as to how it was, if no one else has by then.

I watched this yesterday and thought it was really good, even if it didn't bring anything new to the genre. Of the movies you listed, I would say it wasn't as good as Remember The Titans, but better than We Are Marshall and Invincible. If you like these sort of films, I felt this one was a real winner. Acting was top notch, and as the review said, the disc is a stunner.

i just watched this last night and i was VERY impressed! not only is the movie great, but the PQ & AQ are very good. i would put the PQ right up there at the top. if you like football movies then you will definitely like it. i will buy once i find a nice price on amazon, but i dont think its worth the $28 they are asking right now.
