BIG name directors have big movies coming

It just hit me the other day how many potentialy awesome big budget movies are coming out over the next few years from some of the biggest directors in the world.

All movie titles and release years I got from imdb.com

Here's a taste:

Don't forget Steven Spielberg's Abraham Lincoln biopic! Daniel Day Lewis (who I believe is the best actor in Hollywood by far) has recently been cast to play Lincoln. This has tons of Academy Awards written all over it.

Tom Hanks was just cast as the lead in Kathryn Bigelows next film Triple Frontier, that will probably be pretty huge.

Last year when he announced that Kill Bill 3 was coming in 2014 he said he'd be making another movie before then. I haven't heard anything since then though so his plans may have changed.

[Show spoiler]I don't really see where Kill Bill 3 can go anyway, Bill is dead and so it would appear, are all the people on the Bride's little revenge list.

I don't know if it just seems this way, but it looks like the next few years are filled with huge movies.

Exactly my thought as well. I am very much looking forward to seeing another Star Trek like the last one, and that is coming from a guy who never liked ST.
