I loaded all my pictures into my gallery. Some repeat from here, others are additional (not sure if ANY were necessary).
![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Edit (above)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FRONT STAGE ![]() Monitor & Sources: Mitsubishi WD-65734 ~ Denon AVR790 ~ Sony PS3 ~ Comcast HD box; Front: Polk Audio Monitor 60, cherry; Center: Polk Audio CS1, cherry; Front-Height: Element Electronics EBS1; VCR tunes channels for the DVD-Recorder Yes, I need to clean my camera lens...and probably the big screen too. Wire management is better than it's ever been (with other equipment stands). I will soon hang those acoustic panels...I just finished making them the other night. And yes, I had a slight Lego-Star Wars addiction at one time. Also on that shelf, you can see my Front Heights...I'm a big believer in these channels. Not so much into the additional rears. View to the Left ![]() The curtains to the hallway don't hang to the ground for a couple reasons. They were recycled from elsewhere...and my cat can walk under them. He doesn't mess with them too much (no climbing...YET!) Again, acoustic panels recently constructed. Trying different places for them. Will hang them when I've decided exactly where. View to the Right ![]() My BD collection up-top....SD DVD at the bottom....TV on DVD on the floor. I have more of the shelves, just need to figure out where to put them. You can see my Complete Sopranos and The Big Lebowski....hidden behind the lamp-post, the Complete Shield collection. (the lamp doesn't usually sit there....was using it to light the room) Left Rear (taken from beside right front) ![]() Here's the left rear (naked). These towers (MTS) used to be my fronts. Above them (in the ceiling) are my old rears. I'm not convinced that I needed to switch to floor-standing rears. The in-ceiling speakers were quite nice. Right Rear (taken from beside left front) ![]() There's the rear right speaker. You can also see my subwoofer. The 2x4's on the left are the feet for when it sits on the ground. You can see the spikes I installed. I also installed those same spikes on my front Polk 60's. The table was supposed to bring the sub up and let it be a bigger presence in the theatre. The sub itself is sitting on a poured-concrete slab (insulated from scratching the table) then the table itself. The sub's amp you can see in the next picture, next to the front right speaker. (it's the amp taken from an Infinity BU-1) The always necessary NAKED shot ![]() The 'curtain' in the back is a painters drop-clothe. It doesn't usually hang there. I put it up because I'm not quite ready to show off the "second-row seating". That and I've hidden junk back there ![]() There you have it. I'll post more pictures in my gallery, but figured these were enough for my Theatre Thread. Thanks for perusing!! ![]() Last edited by NorCo_1806; 09-01-2010 at 05:57 PM. |
