Question about Amazon and slipcovers. - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if i order District 9 from Amazon, I will get a slipcover or not? I was at Best Buy earlier and they had 2 with slipcovers but they were behind a dozen or more without. If I can't get one from Amazon could I request one from them somehow?

Not sure where this belongs honestly, so Mods please move if needbe.

Its a crapshoot with AMZ, sorry I couldnt get a direct answer but Thats my experience with older titles. You are fine with new releases(within a week or 3)

a week or 3 being from release day? District 9 came out in December so probably no slipcover unless I'm lucky.

If you really want the slipcover I would suggest buying from a local B&M store. Amazon is really hit or miss with the slipcovers and the longer from the release date its more often than not miss.

Amazon is a MAJOR seller. If you don't get it on release day or the week following, you are going to be out of luck. Anytime after that is hit or miss. Smaller stores and local B&M stores don't fly through merchandise as quickly so check there. I know BB still has quite a few copies of D9 with slips (not the vest though).

I got my movies (Gamer, District 9, and Star Trek), and they all had slipcovers. Got them from Amazon too.
