PS3 controlled by a none blutooth - Blu-ray Forum

I hope this is not considered double posting, but after I posted this info in another thread, I thought it might be in the wrong area.

I have a Panasonic S1 and I notice that I can control my PS3 with it. It would seem that the remote that came with the TV is controlling the TV and the TV is controlling the PS3.

From what I can tell, I don’t have to purchase the adaptor for the PS3. A person can use a universal remote to control the TV and control the PS3 also.

I bought a so called blutooth remote for the PS3 and I come to find out, that it does not do well on my Onkyo 805 and I will be returning that remote.

I did buy a harmony remote and was going to order the PS3 adaptor, but I don’t have to now.

Yeah that is the HDMI control function which is specific to the PS3 Slims. The PS3 Fats cannot do this.
