I agree! I thought, I read in another thread, that this wasn't a steelbook.

Is this a confirmed steelbook? It doesn't state anywhere in the amazon product page that it is.

Why are people commenting on the horrible cover art but not the curious "remastered" bit?

After all the transfer is the most important thing, since the first release pretty much looked perfect.

The "remastered" bit stems from the fact that this new German release will feature the same transfer that was used for the US disc. We already had a Blu-ray release of "Fight Club" in 2008 that featured horrible picture quality.

I hope this new release will be great with an better cover than the slipcase, I had the Steelbook and love this (I think the quality is good enough but for my favourite Film I pay some more money xD).

I purchased the steelbook from AmazonDE when it was released. I have to say it looked alright to me and sounded fantastic, if I were to dip again on Fight Club it would have to be an extremely reasonable price. My bank account is in agony having gone through the trauma of paying for the Alien Anthology/BTTF Tin.
