Does anyone have any experience with using an imported PS3 console? To explain, I'm interested in picking up an Asia region PS3 to use here where I live (US). I know I'd have to get the firmware from their Asia website and that my movies would be incompatible, however my main concern is the power.
Using an Asian PS3 in the States, what would I have to do in order to use it without risk of blowing it up lol. Would I need a voltage converter? Or just swap the power plug with one from a US PS3? I've heard a number of different answers, but none seemed very confident. I'd like to hear statements from people who have done this firsthand, if there are any... |
