Default Aladdin and the King of Thieves

OK, I was watching some of this on YouTube, and I still enjoy it after so many years. Most of the voice cast came back for it, including Robin Williams, and Jonathan Rhys-Davies did a good job as Aladdin's father. In my opinion, its one of the very few Disney animated sequels that don't suck, because it looks like the studio actually put some concentrated effort behind it (not so much with "The Return of Jafar"). Nothing beats the original, of course, but I think this one gets pretty close. So, let's hear it; what do you think of this film, and why?

It was technically the finale to the TV series (which wasn't a bad followup either)--
But at least it finally answered the question of what the heck happened to the Robin Williams merchant/storyteller who disappeared after the opening scene of the original movie...

It is HILARIOUS. The Genie is just...90 minutes of him being an idiot. It's a vehicle for Robin Williams, but I love it nonetheless.

Some of my favorite lines from Robin as the Genie include...

"Freeze, sandbag! Don't make me use the other end!"

"Geronimo, Navajo, Arapaho...Pocahontas."

"Do not attempt to move or we'll be shooting ourselves!"

"You have violated the perimeter of the Aladdin and Jasmine wedding. Prepare to be vaporized; thank you."

"Ah, they trampled the carpet! Well, that's a little redundant; so this isn't a bad day for you, is it?"

"Today's topic, fears of the future family man. Al from Agrabah, share with us..."

There's many, many more, but those are some of my favorites. I just wish Robin were as funny with his stand-up stuff.

YES!

"Life is like one big dune, and me without my sand wedge..."

"Osiris? Oh Osiris!" ::squawk::

"Oh, who's that parting the crowd? It's MOSES!"

"And your name is?"

"I'm Thor."

"You're Thor?"

"Well, it hurts."

"Once again, this entire broadcast is brought to you by SAND - it's everywhere, get used to it!" "
