As the title says, 2012 blu-ray at Walmart for $21.83 only until March 4th. I thought that was a pretty good price for a new release.

how was this movie? when it was in theatres everyone tore it up, got 0 out 10 on most sites but ever since it came out on dvd ive heard decent things anyone have an opinion to share?

I thought it was a pretty crappy movie IMHO... was tempted to buy it nonetheless as I'm sure it would look and sound great, but didn't as the movie has almost no re-watch value.

i actually quite enjoyed it. special effects were great, acting was good. one or two slightly cheesy scenes but if you can overlook those few minutes, its really quite an enjoyable movie. im going to be picking it up.

good action movie,worth a watch and your time,the story is well driven,i never once almost fell a sleep on it.

Just watching this now.

The sounds on this Blu-ray are amazing and the PQ is very good.

The movie has to be one of the worst I've ever seen though

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Sure the effects were really good but the science was laughable. People outrunning the shock wave from a volcano eruption that makes Mount St.Helens look like a firecracker, cell phones that still work when the entire world is a wasteland, tidal waves in the middle of the ocean, and so on...

This movie should have had National Lampoon in the title.

It's worth a rental for the effects and the fun of it but a purchase only if you're collecting the worst films of all time.

its no worst than avatar story wise....
and i dint see why satellite phones would not work....
tidal waves in the middle of the ocean are called tsunami and are cause by earthquakes aftershocks and plates movement...

im not saying its plausible the whole time, but give credit where credit is due, its an enjoyable movie if you like the catastrophe genre...
