Default Thrift Store/Yard Sale Goodies!

Not sure how many people here go to yard sales or thrift stores but every weekend I make my rounds to a couple thrift stores. When it gets warmer, I will include yard sales.

I was out today and there is this one place I go to all the time that has decent stuff. I have picked up quite a few nice items here for really cheap. Today, I was looking around and ended up in the computer area. On the table sat an HP Laser Jet. It was dirty and you would think it was junk. Like I did the weekend before. So, I decided to plug it in and check it out. Powered on, no errors and all sounded fine. I asked the lady how much and I already had a price in mind. She said $20 dollars. I said great, I will take it. That's what I had in mind.

I get this thing home, clean it up and it looks brand spanking new. Inside clean and like new. I plug it in, add some paper and print a config. page. Nice, smooth sounds. No issues there. The pages have a line down the middle but that cleared up after 4 pages came out. Just sat too long. I run a cleaning page through and done.

Best thing yet? It has a built in JetDirect card! So I can hook this up to my network and print print print! I plug it in to test it out, it WORKS! So I updated the firmware and I am set.

I am still kind of shocked I got this bad boy for $20 dollars. It's an HP LaserJet P3005N. New it goes for quite a few bucks. I made out and extremely happy because I wanted a laser for all my mailing label printing.

Long story short - what goodies have you found?

Pics below..

Specs on this thing are NICE!
