Turkey The Island - Turkish Release does not have Dolby TrueHD (updated)

I am in Turkey right now. I was browsing the Blu-ray selection of the local media store. Most of them are German pressings and UK pressings (from cover arts). There are afew with Turkish translated cover arts. The shop owner told me there are no facilities in Turkey to press blu-rays and they are all pressed in Hungary.

I bought The Island from UK a while ago and it does not have lossless track. There was an Aus/NZ edition with a different cover but the same transfer(verify?) The Turkish edition has Aus/Nz cover art with Turkish translated( ADA - The Island). I checked the specs, its same as UK edition but with Dolby TrueHD.

Its quite pricey 45tl(about $30usd) comparing to I paid about $10 from Uk shipped. I like this movie a lot I would like this version but I cant rely on cover specs. Can anyone confirm there is a pressing which has lossless track?

i went to this same media shop again and the shop owner was nice enough to play the disc to verify these specs. Unfortunately it does not have Dolby TrueHD. There are 7 different languages all encoded in Dolby Digital.

What's the hold up in this on a good blu Ray edition here? I saw this on cable a few years ago and to be honest I was just drooling on the prospect of seeing this on blu ray!!

Michael Bay might want to do a special edition for the US. Its owned by a different studio in the US to other countries. Warner distributes it in the UK which is why its DD5.1. It came out in that era when Warner were being lazy.

I just ordered it from Greece, which says True-HD English an DD English on the cover, but I looked at every stream on the disk, and they are flat out lying, there isn't one.

I thought I was doing well today to find The Island for a good price here in Auckland ..until I checked the specs to find it had standard 5.1. what a rip off. I didn't get it.
