Okay this is the situation...
Currently this is my setup (or lackthereof) 1. Acer P244W 24" 1080P HD LCD Monitor (VGA and 2 HDMI Ports in the back w/audio port) 2. PS3 Slim (120GB) Now currently I do not have a TV and as a result, I don't have cable tv service, only internet broadband service via Comcast. I would like to eventually get comcast CABLE, and just have the cable box go directly to the monitor. Is that possible? Are there cable boxes (through Comcast anyway) that allow me to connect it to my monitor via HDMI cables, therefore not using a/v plugs or coaxial cable? I'm fairly stupid when it comes to technological stuff and setting up this type of thing, so just keep that in mind, in case this is "common knowledge" or something. lol Pictures of my monitor below: ![]() ![]() Last edited by Groo The Perverted; 03-12-2010 at 03:43 AM. |
