Shopping Blu-ray Review

Finally Paul W.S. Andersons first film, Shopping is being treated to a Blu-ray release. Im just hoping we get the uncut version on the Reg A release.

I have seen that some UK titles are edited before US release, Human Traffic (dvd release) and Boad that Rocked to name 2.

Oh, wow. I think I still have my VHS copy around somewhere. I enjoyed this one. Will pick it up once it goes under $15.

This one came in a clear case, first non-3D ive seen that on. Will probably switch with one of my 3D's which came in blue case.

Cant wait to watch this in 1080p, hoping the transfer is good.

Although back cover says DD5.1, this disc features a Dts hd ma 5.1 soundtrack in addition to original dd2.0 and commentary. Have only watched on my 42" plasma yet, but pq looks good..

Just bought this off diabolikdvd for $19.99.I saw this a couple of yrs ago on IFC and really enjoyed it.

Mike, I can't find region coding info from the usual places.
I have however ordered the disc,(£12.23 from gam.co delivered), as this review just reminded me it was released.

If no one has confirmed the region status, I should have the disc middle of next week and will let you know.

Dont know why I omitted it in my previous first impressions, but disc is Region Free

Eight years (!) after the last post on it, just watched this from my Hamilton Book order, and damn, what a steal. This is a great little film. Highly recommended.

Paul WS Anderson is a vastly underrated and overly hated director imo. I've never understood the hate, he makes fun popcorn movies and delivers the visual goods. They are also extremely fun and have amazing action scenes. I will always love Paul WS Anderson films.
