Is there a possibility that they will be released in July? That would be great...

That's what I'm hoping. Let's hope they make an announcement on the release date soon.

Would be smart of WB the release 3 & 4 when the 7 part 1 is released and 5 & 6 when 7 part 2 is released.

Which is probably exactly how they're going to do it, just not sure when the inevitable 2 8 film sets will hit. There will be a "normal" one and then one with all the bells and whistles. Will decide which one to get depending on content and price and transfers.

If they're $16.99 each like the last films, I'll get them anyway.

I'm waiting to get these UE box sets until the price drops. $30 is a bit much for me (despite all the goodies it comes with). Though I have to say, the 3rd film is my favorite so I might have to spend the money on that one right when it comes out... which then means I have to get the other ones as well since I can't have a random title from a series (part of my OCD apparently). What an expensive day that'll be...

My question is about who host these Maximum Movie Mode, is it director, cast, or art department that brings us through the process? I'd much rather have tour of Azkaban with Couron than any of the kids.

I am kind if a minor Potter fan so I won't be double dipping and I have held off so far (through some really decent deals on the standard film editions). I have waited for a few more of the ultimate editions before I dove in. Besides the extras, are the films themselves extended in a significant way?

Depends on what you think is significant. The first one? Not really. The second one? I think so, particularly in scenes of Harry overhearing other students talking about him. The second film is allowed to simmer that subplot a bit more - Harry fearing he has evil inside him - and the film is better for it. Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Default Ultimate Editions 3 & 4 Release Date

Mugglenet has November 25, 2010 posted on their site calendar as release dates for Ultimate Editions 3 & 4 of the Harry Potter series. Obviously it coincides with theatrical release of part one of the seventh film.....

November 25th sounds about right; I'm hoping for an official release date soon (as well as full specs).
