Default How do you rent your Blu-rays?

I'm with the blockbuster Total access plan because Netflix is slow to get blu-rays of older catalog titles plus I can exchange them in store. I was curious how everyone here rents.

Blockbuster by mail. Switched from Netflix after they started charging higher prices for sharply declining service quality.

I don't rent Blu-rays and I don't buy used ones either. I simply purchase to own my Blu-ray movies and TV shows.

NetFlix by mail (which I will eventually replace with Blockbuster) and the occasional Redbox (though that's more of a warm weather sport).

I am not filthy rich and have two small children so blind buying everything is just not feasible for me. I rent about 10-15 BDs a month from Netflix for $16.04 after tax.

If you think about it, blind buying will save you A LOT more than renting. Had you blind bought your movies instead of renting them, you would've been filthy rich.

Huh? Unless you buy 1 disc a month, or maybe 2 on a discount, that makes no sense.

Also, how is it "trouble" I get a disc in an envelope. I watch it. I put it back in the envelope and in my mailbox. Repeat.

Well, think about it. You rent a movie and pay for the rental. You like the movie, so you buy it. Had you blind bought the movie right away, you would've saved money because you didn't pay to rent it.

How on earth is that trolling
I'm describing exactly the "trouble" I go through with rentals: walking to my mailbox.

Oh wow, you guys ARE that ignorant!!! In my experience, getting movies in the mail is slooowww and half the time, they're damaged and I have to send them back. Also, there were times when Netflix claimed they didn't receive my movies so they charged me retail price for the movie. Um, yeah. No trouble at all.

Never rent, always buy. But if I did, I would go to redbox.

Well gee, clearly that's EVERYONE's experience then good thing you're here to educate me, because here I was having none of these issues but apparently I'm just in some state of deluded psychosis.
