I just beat it tonight!
![]() ![]() I'm kind of curious as to what other people thought of it and who they choose to pick. I played as an elf mage which took about 64 hours to finish the game. My favorite battles are probably a 3 way tie between [Show spoiler] . I started up a new char that I am planning on being a 2 hand wielding dwarf, only downside is that I'm afraid he is going to kill a wee bit slower. ![]() |

I played through it twice. Loved it the first time, but the second time around it started to lose it's luster. Great storyline, wonderful voice casting & lush graphics though.
Bioware has 2 years of dlc planned, which is a cool idea but a lot of people are very unhappy with that. The first expansion is coming next month, but at $40 ehhhh......not interested. |

Cool, I had no idea that they had 2 years of downloads planned out. And $40 you say? Too rich for me and I don't usually buy expansions anyway. And yes, I can see how playing through the 2nd time would get old but I really wanted to test a mostly melee set up as I felt running 2 mages through most of the game was too easy.

quick question guys. I haven't seen too much of this game but I love Bioware RPG's usually. So question is... is this a rather opened ended MMORPG style ala Morrowind?? or is it more in line with their more linear story driven ones like KOTOR or Mass Effect or Neverwinter Nights??

What makes it non linear is your ability to choose which order you wish to recruit races to save the world. You aren't locked in to one particular story vein at any one time (few exceptions), as you can move around to other parts of the world. A multitude of side quests which require travel keep the game from being completely linear as well. |

It took a while to start enjoying this game. Once I got the hang of it, I could not stop playing. The story is solid, the graphics are superb, and best of all I feel I am for my money. Good job Bioware. Looking forward to extensions!
