Agree. It will be interesting if he goes into some of the changes he made to it. The test screening had a few longer scenes, the ending was structured slightly different and the song Roxanne by The Police was played in the test but switched to F*** the police for final cut.

I thought this was one of the worst horror flicks I’ve seen in a very long time. The only thing to recommend is the mostly likable cast, even the kids.

I am not a fan of the horror genre but this one is worth repeated viewing for me because the underlying messages are much more complex than I expected. On the surface as a typical horror film, it has some flaws in its execution so I'm not surprised that many didn't like it.

I find it interesting that Jordan Peele's career so far seems to follow the track of M. Night Shyamalan.

Peele is doing much better, to be honest.

Night's first commercial pic was a fiasco; Peele's was a hit and an Oscar winner. Even if we pretend Wide Awake didn't happen, sophomore-wise Us was comparatively more successful and much more acclaimed than Unbreakable.
