Okay was browsing around and came across this

it says it's available to pre-order, I don't know the website for Eagle video so couldn't confirm but thought I'd ask here

hmm interesting. I did like this movie. But this sure is a Random release. Good songs. Good suspense. Might even buy it if true.

I emailed the website asking if they had a release date, got a reply today that the tentative release date is the 25th of April

No ,they've already released gangs of wasseypur I & II.It's pretty good.

Everything that I have ever seen from Eagle has been beyond bad. This is including their blu-ray release of 'The Reader', which was even beyond pathetic. I have not seen the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' blu-ray, so cannot comment on it. But their last DVD that I saw, that of 'Gulaal', was one of the worst DVDs I have ever seen and believe me as a movie buff from India, I have seen my share of 'bad' DVDs.

lets see.. how ever Gupt isn't a significant title but i hope its a good PQ AQ so people buy the BD and encourage companies to release older movies on BD

What I loved about the Gangs of Wasseypur blu-rays was the awesome subtitles, haha they not only translated all the swear words but even translated swears even if the character didn't say anything bad.

tbh they should at least be releasing all new films on Blu-ray, I can understand if the film wasn't that successful at the box office, but the majority should be at least. I believe until that change doesn't take place we won't be seeing many older catalogue releases any time soon

I might order a copy from greatdealworld.com but I'm surprised that there is no other info for this release.

lol...well, that cover art looks more like a placeholder and might not be the actual image of the Blu-ray, but I strongly advise you not to keep your hopes up since Eagle can always come up with something more dreadful anyway

gupt had very stylish posters back in the day. why not just use one of those. I hate that indian companies don't automatically do stuff like that.
