Does Xbox upconvert Netflix streaming to 1080? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there folks. I'm currently streaming using netflix and my receiver says it is coming through as 1080p. I know netflix doesn't stream at 1080p so I'm guessing the XBox is upconverting?

If the receiver says it is receiving a 1080p signal, then it is. The 360 does upscale to 1080p, from what I understand. Upscaling Netflix streaming is really no different than upscaling DVDs. They'll look about the same.

What I wish is that Neflix would offer 5.1 for streaming.
