Default New Line Blu-rays

Is New Line not a Blu-ray exclusive studio? I am just wondering if anyone here knows of any New Line titles that have been released or announced? I was just going through the coming soon titles for SD and saw that "The Number 23" is being distributed by New Line and other than the obvious LOTR trilogy there are plenty of other New Line titles, Rush Hour, Austin Powers, etc. Appreciate any help.

Newline has yet to release a HD title on either format. When they do they will be neutral.

I wish they would cater more towards Blu-ray...to balance out the Warner Bros. fiascos.

Wasn't there a rumor about LOTR coming out this fall and Blu-Ray gets the extended versions of the film on 50gb discs, and then HD-DVD gets the theatrical versions on a 30gb disc? That might've just been a rumor though...

They would have so many angry fans if they screwed up these movies, but I don't think it will be an issue. LOTR movies are New Line's babies --they will give them the utmost care and treatment.

It would be pretty sweet if they pull a BD (Blood Diamond) and release LOTR 1 month earlier on Blu-ray.

Holly shit!!!

BD = Blood Diamond + Earlier Release Date = BD (Blu-ray) Domination!!!!

I suck at math

I read that New Line are waiting for Blu-ray PiP so they can release on HD-DVD and Blu-ray at the same time rather than releasing first on HD-DVD like Warner did with The Matrix.
