Default Thinking about ordering the live action Iron Man Blu-ray

I never read the comic book, but I think I might like this movie. A friend of mine at work said that this is a good movie. I purchased the animated Iron Man Blu-ray about 5 or so months ago and I liked that.

I noticed that the live action Iron-Man movie it's on sale at Amazon for $16.99 and I like to take advantage of those great sales By the way does Blu-ray.com still get credit if you use their links to add the movie to your shopping cart if you don't buy it right away, but come back a couple hours or a couple of days later to buy it?

Buy it. Iron Man is an awesome movie, one of my favorite superhero movies of all time. Robert Downey Jr. is perfect as Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) and the special effects/action scenes are great too

Excellent AQ / PQ in the movie. This is the cheapest I've ever seen it, so if you're on the fence, I say take the chance.

+1. Robert Downey Jr. is a perfect Tony Stark. I'd definitely agree, go for it! I find myself re-watching Iron Man quite often as well, good re-watch value.

You do realize this movie made like $500 trillion at the box office, right? Trust me, very safe purchase.

Thumbs up A certain guarantee you'll like this film!

... Next to The Dark Knight, it was the biggest role for a comicbook movie in a long time! The way the character from the comics is blended into the real world is amazingly well-done. I cannot wait for pt.II, due in May.

Buy friend.

Any list of the Greatest Superhero Movie Castings in history (Christopher Reeve, Hugh Jackman, Michael Keaton, etc.) HAS to include Robert Downey Jr. in the top 5.

But getting off the Downey issue, this one feels more like a contemporary comic book movie than Dark Knight's faux-Scorsese imitations do (and a lot more fun)--
Here's one movie that really DOES have "Post-9/11 sensibilities" in a good way, and I'd put this one in a time capsule next to "Hurt Locker" for just what we were thinking in the wartime 00's.

So did Transformers and the Twilight saga. Insufficient argument in a film's favor on its own.

Well, dammit, that's true of course. However, when you combine that box office take with the extremely high critical praise it received (93% positive at rottentomatoes.com), which the TRANSFORMERS and TWILIGHT sagas rightfully did not receive, then I'd say you can feel pretty secure in a blind buy!

YES... buy it.

YES... Blu-ray.com will get credit if you link to Amazon from this website. Why not just wait until you are ready to purchase and use the Blu-ray.com link. That way it's a sure thing.

A lot of times I will add items to my shopping cart to help me remember what all I want to buy or might want to buy when I go to make my purchase. I have about 12 or so items in my cart now that I have added over the last couple of days.

I most likely will be buying this. There are a few other Blu-rays that are on sale at Amazon that I also want to get.

Buy that way I am not sure, but I might have heard that you get a free ticke to see Iron Man 2 if you buy some movie on Blu-ray? Has anyone heard anything about that?

I really liked it 4 1/2 stars.

I believe it was on Michael Phillips 10 best of the year.

I just ordered Iron Man and the first Final Destination movie on Blu-ray from Amazon. I used the links on Blu-ray.com when I purchased them just now. Iron Man Blu-ray was $16.99 and Final Destination Blu-ray was $11.49 with a grand total of $28.48. When I order from Amazon I always find $25 or more worth of stuff so I can get free shipping (there is always something there that I want so making my order $25 or more is not hard).
