. But HighDefDiscNews had the WRONG release date set from both; The Informant and Whiteout.

February 23rd is the OFFICIAL set Warner release date.

Very funny movie, I loved it.

The humor is not for everyone though. Kinda like a Coen Brothers film.

i loved this movie, but like ethanwa said, the humor isn't for everyone.

i'll be picking it up sometime down the line.

Agreed, Probably a rental for me though. Heard mixed reviews (a lot of dialog and I heard Matt Damon is incredible in it)

Great movie. Maybe not day 1 depending on the price. $15-18 max.

I recommend it, but it's all about what type of comedy you like. Maybe you should rent first.

Saw this in theaters and liked it but I don't think it will have much replay value for me so I'll pass for the time being

This was hilarious and then all of a sudden turns kinda sad as the guy digs himself in deeper and deeper. Not a priority, but I may eventually pick it up if I get a decent sale.

I honestly thought this movie was a bore. I thought it was sorta quirky in the beginning but as the movie went on, it just became pathetic (Mark Whitacre's actions) and I was like I can't laugh at this. This is true, this guy is really messed up in the head. And I found the score quite annoying after a while and the film really goes nowhere. I just got bored midway. And why was it shot like a 70s flick if this was going on early 90s?

Ok, so I just got back from Target with my copy of The Informant. I open it and find no digital copy and no DVD copy, just the Blu-Ray. Did I miss something? I thought this was supposed to be Warner's first release with all formats in one package. I really don't care as I was never going to use the DVD and digital copy anyway, but I just found it odd. Anyone else have this happen?
