Default Warranty question regarding Samsung and Fry's Electronics

I have had my Sammy since Christmas of 07. I had the power regulator issue(Where it would click on and off) about 7 months ago. Now it has developed a line that goes from almost the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen. It looks like a line of pixels that are dead. Is this an issue that is easily fixed? I was bummed that they fixed it so easily last time. hoped for an upgrade. They offered a loaner and based on last time, it took 3 weeks, i might want to. The line is just getting too distracting now. Has anyone had this issue? If it needs to be replaced, would they give me the same size TV or same price I paid TV? I would love to get the 58 inch plasma they have right now. I paid 1900 for my TV in 07. 1900 buys alot more nowadays.
