Default Picture and Sound out of sync! HELP!

For some reason im receiving my audio first and then my picture. I have everything set up right and the only way to improve it is to change the A/V Sync on my amp and even then its still out. Ive recently bought a samsung 46ue7020 tv and cant remember having this problem before. If anyone knows anything about this please help me.

I'm not familiar with your player but there may be an A/V sync setting you can tweak with.

Even when setting the Lip Sync delay feature on your Onkyo TX-SR606 at 0 ms?
...That's where it should be set, and for all your sources.
But with cable box and satellite box, the sync might be out of wack, so proper measures are required.

* Or could be your Ultra High Speed Monster Cables!

We probably need more information. Like, Blu ray player hooked up to ... via hdmi hooked up to ... via hdmi. That would help us out a little.

Not sure if this relates to your situation, but I noticed when I have my Receiver Decoding the audio instead of my blu ray player it makes my receiver work harder which was causing me to have lip sync issues with blu rays. I switched my blu ray player back to doing the decoding itself and it fixed the problem. This theory would only be valid if you were running your video and audio thru your receiver via hdmi. Hope this helps.

I heard on an HT podcast that this can sometimes be fixed if your TV has a "Game" setting.
