Canada BBV: $4.99 Blu-ray

Blade
Blade II **
Blade Trinity **
Fanboys **
Hannibal Rising
Hostage
The Illusionist
Rogue
Seven **
Sin City **

BlockBuster Canada Flyer (see page 6)
Valid: April 6 - 12, 2010

**Future Shop's website already has 5 of the Blu-rays listed on their site and available for ISPU.
I imagine that this will be available at all major retailers.

All ten Blu-rays confirmed at these locations;

$4.99 Best Buy
$5.99 BlockBuster Video
$4.99 Future Shop
$5.00 Wal-Mart

Future Shop jumped the gun and started selling these Blu-rays on the weekend. Most FS stores are sold out already.

flyer says 5.99 - still a good price... will wait and see if future shop has them for 4.99 and likely pick up hostage, illusionist, blade, seven, and fanboys...

i phoned FS to ask about the other $5 titles, they say it varies by region...

so hopefully it wont be limited to those other 5 across Canada

Make sure if anyone wants these that they get there early Monday morning as my store only got 2 copies of each title. And some of these titles we've never had before so we definitely only have the 2.

only people working for the government get Monday off...

think it may just be Federal, but not 100% sure

nonetheless, this definitely won't include video store employees

i will confirm prices go into effect monday. dont be surprised if you show up to a bbv first thing and there are only half the titles suppose to be there. i went in yesterday at my store and 5 other employees that beat me to the sale items had already claimed ALL the blade movies, seven and the ilusionist. each store is getting 2 copes of each sale title. but i drove to the store down the street from me (where only 1 of the employees own a bluray player) and everything was still available. so it just depends..

Man, i can see a lot of pissed off customers especially if someone comes in bright and early, and there are no copies available. Blockbuster should put aside a certain amount of titles for employees only, plus another amount for the customers, not 2 copies of each title, with employees snatching them all up.

Just came back from a Blockbuster in Burlington. They had the illusionist (which I got) the blades, rouge, fanboys. There were some more as well, in a little yellow cardboard bin that had 'great deals' on the side. They had other blu rays for 9.99-19.99 in the bin as well. Zack and Miri was 16.99

The blockbuster buzz email lists Apollo 13 as 24.99, which is $5 more than Futureshop

Default Just saw the magical box of cheap blu-rays myself...

Just got back from my own local blockbuster (after hearing folks were grabbing the cheapies a day early... that flyer said Tues. April 6th) and grabbed the $9.99 Equilibrium (thanks for the heads-up cardman!) and the $5.99 Illusionist. Tacked on a $4 off coupon from my little blue booklet... two blu-rays for $12! Mwahahahahaaaaa!!!

The staff went to the back to grab the box of special blu-rays being discounted (they were shocked to see Equilibrium come up at that price... and even more shocked at Illusionist) and enticed me to grab even more!! I held off though (got Blade II and Fanboys from the Futureshop $4.99 sale). No way in heck was I gonna plunk down for the horror-show that Blade Trinity was (I mean that in a BAD way... I still feel horrible for Wesley Snipes getting shafted in that one), and I already got stung on the crappy pan-scan ratio transfer on the first Blade when I bought it at full price about 6 months ago. Hoping for a better visual experience with Blade II.

HOWEVER... there were a couple others not listed on this site that were decent prices... either $15.99 or $16.99 including The Patriot (Mel Gibson). If you haven't yet... git down to your nearest Blockbuster before they're gone!
