So I've just watched Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time, having bought the Triple Play Steelbook version off HMV. Video quality was superb, I couldn't fault it, but something about the audio bugged me a little bit. It was generally very good, but I wonder if anyone else noticed if the sound was a little distorted in places, particularly where there was dialogue? I understand that HD means lossless audio, which means that it's obviously going to be loud, but I tried it at parts with the volume on my surround sound system turned higher and at times with it turned lower, and could still pick some slight distortion up. This makes me wonder if maybe it was encoded too loud.
It's not a huge, off-putting distraction, I could probably live with it if Disney never organise any kind of replacement program in the future. But I just wondered if anyone else had noticed it on their copy, or whether it's just me. |
