Default Questions about KLH E-12DB

Due to a death in the family, I have "inherited" a KLH E-12DB (among other things). It's a 12" down-firing KLH subwoofer. It appears to be in great shape, although I haven't hooked it up to hear its performance.

A Google search reveals relatively little about this model, and I can't find a reference to it on the KLH web site. I'm not sure if it was sold stand-alone, or with a set, how it's rated, etc. The panel on the back reads "125 watts." That, and the model #, are all I have.

I'm the proud owner of an Acoustic Audio sub, so I'm not sure if I even want to keep the KLH. Having an idea of its MSRP might also be helpful.

Does anyone have any experience with KLH subs, or know anything about them?

Thanks.

KLH is an older brand. I'm not even sure if they are still making speakers anymore.

They weren't ever known being "high end" brand.

Hook it up and give it a listen... you never know, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Subs can maintain their performance/integrity for quite some time if properly taken care of. It sure wouldn't hurt to hook it up and listen to what you hear....you may be pleasantly surprised.
