Default Question about how to use cover for steelbooks?

As you may know im new to collecting steelbooks. Anyways, recently I bought LA: Los A...and 100 DVD covers (as I heard their better than the blu-ray).

So I put the steelbook inside and as you know their is alot of plastic on the top, so I have to fold it, so it looks better. Also, their is a sticky part that you can close it.

What am I supposed to do?

Do I cut the plastic off, or do I use the sticky? Thanks.

I cut the top just above the sticky strip, and they close just fine on top of the SteelBook.

I'm too lazy to use it, but tape works fine.

I just fold it over too and then use tape, to tape it to the back so its not a big mess.

I tried that but when I went to open the sleeve, it ripped because of the tape. It's more efficient to just fold it over and let the pressure from your collection make it the default fold.

I just cut mine off directly underneath the sticky strip so the top isn't covered at all. I like it this way so I can easily take my blus out and watch them whenever I need to since I open all my SteelBooks. But everyone has their own perferences.

I use the tape that isn't transparent(whatever its called), its not as strong and doesn't give me any issues when I use it and unlike some of them, it will last.

i cut off the top and bottom of the sleeve with an X-acto knife for a straight and precise cut to custom fit the size of the steelbook whether it is G1 or G2
