Taiwan First Love (2006) - Japanese Romance Thriller?


LoveHKFilm Review

This was an odd duck. I went into it thinking that this was going to be one of your typical Asian romance flick, but it turned into a weird heist movie with political ramblings. I could never really get into this movie. The picture from Taiwan distributor Pony is fine and definitely high def. It is soft in some places, but I think that's how it was shot. It would not surprise me if this was a direct port of the Japanese Blu-ray. Audio was also surprisingly in dts HD MA 7.1. There was no extras.
