That when you go to watch a movie you can't pick one out. And sometimes when you do you stop it 10min realizing you don't want to watch it. In the end you just watch some tv instead?

Yes, this exact thing happened to me when I opted to take a chance on "Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"

LOL. that never happened to me. i have a small collection and everything i have, i don't mind re-watching.

i do see how that is possible if your collection is big. kinda gonna have a hard time making up your mind.

I do this every night.

I have like 100 blus that I haven't seen yet.
And when I go to choose one, I never know what I'm in the mood for.
And I usually re-watch something I've already seen, or watch a few tv shows.

If they're that uninteresting to you, why don't you trade them or sell them for titles you will watch?

It's not that they aren't uninteresting to me...I just have to be in a certain mood to watch some of the movies I have, and I'm rarely in that mood.

Hehe. Happens to me too. I think it just depends on my mood. Kinda like shows I've TiVoed that are waiting for me to watch. And I guess it's the same thing with certain BDs I own, I have to be in a certain mood to want to watch them. But at least I know it's there when I do want to watch it.

The problem I have is that I'll start watching something and find something of interest in the movie that I'll start researching online while the movie is playing. That piece of research will lead to another, and that will lead to another, and so on and so forth until I realize that half of the movie has played and I've missed it. Doing it right now, actually.

try the "narrow down" method:

(1) pick out 5 you want to watch
(2) pick one out of the 5 to watch

or slide your finger along your collection (with eyes closed) and randomly stop your finger on one.

or commit to watch your collection alphabetically, in order.

Ok, that's fair enough I guess...I'm just one of those who only buys movies I can literally watch every single day and never get tired of...

Summed up my night, lol. Had such a stressful day at work, when it came time to commit to a movie tonight, I couldn't make up my mind. Most of the time it's not such a challenge.

Happens at least once a week. Spent up to an hour once choosing a film only to turn it of with a feeling of never wanting to see that film in the first place. As my Blu collection grows, it will happen more.

I don't often 'stop' a movie, but I do spend a lot of time just sitting in front of my shelves of Blu-Ray and DVD, and endlessly staring at them trying to find something to watch, that suits the mood I am in.

By the time I find something, its either going to clash with a show I usually watch, or I lose interest in watching one of them entirely.

If I were to go to my cabinets and I were unable to find a movie to watch, then I've bought the wrong 414 films. I do know Avatar and LoTR are going to be giving my PS3 a workout for awhile.

I agree. My mood is 90% of the determining factor of what I'll watch.

I pretty much do this too. Add into that it always seems to have to be something the wife would like as well, and I never can seem to pick something out.
