I hope this is region free or there is a region B release in the works as well, this is a great flick and I hope this has great PQ/AQ even if it turns out to be a barebones release.

Probably is a region b release. I found this why looking for big country on walmart.com after seeing it on amazon.de

Have you ever seen The Sacketts. A great western with Tom Selleck, Sam Elliott, and Glen Ford, plus many extra character actors like Jack Elam. It was finally released a few years ago on dvd, but the movie was originally made for tv as I recall. But overall, a great movie. I highly recommend it.

There's absolutely no way to know until someone gets their hands on it and does a review. Also, for all we know it may be a "timed" store exclusive (where Wal-Mart in this gets to sell it now and other retails start selling it months later)...

This is a great movie with a great soundtrack to boot.

The one time I went into a Wallmart it looked like the End of Days, so I'm hoping this is exclusive for a brief time.

Definitely goes on my list.

Walmart has this for $10 in store but it only has a DTS HD 2.0 soundtrack! I was hoping for a 5.1 remix......big letdown.

This is when Dolby Pro Logic comes in handy.

How can a 50 year old western like The Comancheros be remastered in 5.1 but not a 21 year old? Makes no sense.

I would say because its only 10 dollars. I don't think they would want to put much work into a title that will not sell all that well.

To be honest I only do this with lossless stereo tracks because I want the dialogue to be in the center channel. When you use Pro Logic with a 2.0 mix the dialogue comes out of the center channel as it should.
