I don't know how much interest this thread will get as it is a rather selective question and not many people ask this all the time, but here goes...
With the James Bond reboot in 2006 with Daniel Craig, Casino Royale was quickly considered to be one of the best Bond films since the early Sean Connery flicks and for years and years, Goldfinger was said to be the best of all the movies. But since the revamped Bond, Goldfinger has started to feel more and more dated because of the style of filmmaking and setting, simply because Casino Royale showed auidences that Bond can work in a modern world, and in years to come, like Goldfinger, maybe considered a classic. So do you think Casino Royale has topped the No. 1 spot for best Bond film ever because of how well it worked, or do still think the classic Goldfinger is the best, or any of the others for that matter? Is Casino Royale the new Goldfinger? |
