CD Players: Emotiva ERC-1 vs. Marantz CD5004

So I'm in the market for a dedicated CD player. Right now I'm using my Oppo BDP-80 with an optical out to my Pio receiver. Sounds good, but I'm sure it could be better. What I'm looking for is a player with good DAC's that I can use the analog outs to the "Pure Direct" mode on my receiver for best possible sound. Has anyone heard both of these? Have you compared them before? If not, based on specs, which would you choose?

Emotiva ERC-1

I can get the Marantz player fairly easily, as my audio store is an authorized Marantz dealer. But if the Emotiva is worth it, I'll pay the extra to get it. I'm just unsure as to which one deserves more attention right now.
