I would buy it in Blu-ray. That and especially Children of Men.

If I didn't come here I'd honestly never have known it existed.

This movie should and could have been 2.5 hours. It's too bloated as is. It is the only movie I have ever seen that I would like to see a shorter cut of.

As for Children Of Men though, I pretty much bought the 360 HD-DVD add on because of it.

Meeh. No disrespect but the movie was waay too long , so eevntually I got bored. May be I had very high expectations for it, I dunno.
Same for children of man. I didn't really dig it. So, neither of those for me.

I loved it. Every minute of it. My wife thought it was too long though.

I thought the movie was great. My friends really, really liked it, so I bought it. I would have anyways b/c I love movies. I wouldn't say it was the length that got me, it was more of them not getting me too much into the movie. It was like I was just watching it instead of being excited, shocking, joyful or compelled by something. Just little parts kept it going, but nothing big to really get my attention.

when i saw that movie in the theatre it was really confusing, with names/places, but I think seeing it a second time could make it a good movie.

it seemed like it had potential, i just couldnt follow it that well, and i wasnt even stoned or anything. ;-) anyone else have that problem? i would buy it if i hear its better the second time.

Is there any word on this movie yet?

It's one of my favorites, and I would love to see it on bluray.

It's true that many aren't so fond of this movie. It requires a lot of patience and attentiveness for details, some knowledge of that era (albeit basic knowledge), and a willingness on the behalf of the watcher to do some deduction (which is often bothersome or even offensive to people). In the case of this movie, I believe these were good choices, as they help you empathize with the lead character (or you may just find mind-games and puzzles stimulating).

I didn`t like it that much. Way too long...And as said earlier, so much details in the stor that I felt I couldn`t keep up with it. I didn`t like the pace of the film...
