Could not bring myself to watch the show. All the commercials, promos, and marketing material just seemed a bit too corny for me. And not on purpose.

I tried to get into the show, but I just couldn't.

That can be said for almost every show on TV now.

I'm surprised to see all the hate for the show. One of my favorite viewings of the week...

I was just speaking to someone here at work about how I had several TV shows I watched that were cancelled, and they started talking about the shows they watched and "Moonlight" was one of them. She was also disappointed when she heard it got cancelled as it was one of the few shows she actually watched.

I just did not like it myself. I am sure there were plenty of people who loved it, just not my type of show, vampire tv shows have never been my cup o tea, I could never watch Angel or Buffy either, just too corny. I feel your pain though, I loved JOURNEYMAN and NBC cancelled it.

While I didn't get into "Journeyman" as much as "Moonlight", I was upset by that one as well. Sadly, I also missed the last two episodes....

Hey Secret,
I just saw that episode of Venture Bro's "the trial of the monarch" that your quote comes from. I was literally rolling. I had to rewind it a few times. About to watch the season 2 episode 1 tonight... okay, back on topic.

You must have missed the episode with the teenage vampire looking for hookers?

While I've enjoyed the story, I must admit there is some very nice female "eye candy" as well in Sophia Myles, Shannyn Sossamon, and Holly Valance (one episode) as well as others. The second season was going to focus more on vampire contributions to history...etc, etc, etc...

Again, very sad... between this, "Men In Trees", "October Road", "Back To You", "New Amsterdam", "Miss/Guided", "Notes From The Underbelly", and "Shark", it's a sad day....

Man was this show awful. I watched it every now and then and it was entertaining, but it was crap when compared to Angel, one of the best shows of all time. Forever Knight and Moonlight were horrible because they tried to be completely serious but ended up being cheesy. Angel managed to keep a good balance between the cheesiness that comes with any vampire detective story (Whedon embraced this and created some great humor to) and a serious story line.

So for all you bummed out Moonligt fans, go check out Angel!!!!

Season 1 was pretty week but season 2 picked up real well and seasons 3 & 4 were among the best seasons of any TV show.

Wow. My parents watched those shows too. I've seen episodes randomly. I tend to stick to a few shows, but am a dedicated viewer for those. Also, was Holly his old wife or something? I saw that episode. She was smokin'!
