What the heck happened to Silent Movie not being released as a single disc? That's the one I want the most.

Well there are 3 films from the Mel Brooks collection that haven't been announced as single releases yet, Silent Movie among them. Perhaps there will be a 2nd wave with those final 3 later in the year.

Those 3 are, however, available as single BDs from Hong Kong. Here's the link to a reputable online retailer selling the Silent Movie BD.

Unfortunately that's a bit pricey, so waiting for the eventual US release will probably be best for most. I was very impatient and ordered that a few months ago - it is 100% identical to the BD MGM released in the US as part of the Mel Brooks Collection.

Thanks for the info, but yes I will wait before I go buy the Hong Kong release. If I have too wait too long I will buy the box as I do not have any of his yet.

Most likely not. Fox in the US uses slipcovers VERY rarely even on new straight-from-theaters releases. I can't even think of a single catalogue title from Fox/MGM besides the Bond films that has had a slipcover.

Ok, Fight Club and Young Frankenstein are 2 with slips, so they do exist.

I still don't think it's likely for these 3 considering how many other Fox/MGM catalogue titles come without slips, but we shall see.

Youre probably right, especially since when they do have slipcases they show it in the cover art. From what I've seen of the cover art of the seperate releases, there doesn't look to be any slipcases.
