Mini Laptop deals - Blu-ray Forum

The wife and I want to take a trip on my motorcycle. Room is at a premium. I would like to get a mini laptop for said trip. It would basically be for surfing....email...and pictures (I dont know if they have card readers built in). My only big thing is I want Windows 7 on it.

Anyone have any suggestions? Gots to be cheap.

Any good deals out there that anyone knows about?

All of the ones we sell at work have win7 on them now actually. If you need a basic netbook then they are usually 250-300 bucks

Cheap is good right now.
Do they have card readers built in.....or USB ports to plug a camera into it? (I have never owned a laptop in all my years of buying computers)

You know of any deals out there?

typically they have 2-3 USB ports and most have at least an SD card reader.

Not a big deal to me..but is it norm not to have a cd drive?

yeah the netbooks dont have CD drives, had to give up something for them to be that small
