I know there's discussion on other threads related to the series, but really felt this box-set deserved a dedicated thread. Personally, I'm looking forward to it since Paramount kept the individual seasons so pricey. My only disappointment so far, is the separate "movie edit" discs not being included.

I have my preorder in. $160 seems like a steal after what they originally went for. Going to rewatch TOS this month to lead up to the TNG release.

I have everything but season 7. I don't get why it has stayed at $70 for nearly a year and a half. The rest of the seasons had dropped to at least $50 by that point.

I also preordered at the $160.00 amazon has been offering. It's actually a blind-buy for me as I've only seen maybe half a dozen episodes and the films, so I'm getting very excited!

That is a deal! I bought S1 and S3 when they came out, skipping S2 and keeping my DVD set because, except for a few standout episodes, it wasn't my favorite season. Then I only picked up the rest only when I could find them at a huge discount and the stand-alone two-part episodes. Just missing S2, S6 and S7 now, so I'll hafta pass on this complete set. But kudos to folks who'll be enjoying the savings who held out for this.

I kinda wish I had waited for this. I have the first four seasons, but haven't finished watching them (I'm on season 3). This would have been a better deal.

Best Buy also has listings for a seasons 1-4 set & 5-7 on 6/14 so wonder what that will look like.

I recently bough the DVD of the complete series of Charmed which was repackaged at a much lower price. The first 4 seasons were in one case and the remaining seasons in another case, both inside a cardboard box. Since that is also a CBS product I'm expecting the same for this release...

I'm hoping there's a sale at some point (and that it still has a slip since I have one for all of them) My local Best Buy has had a copy on the shelf with a slip for a pretty long time now so I could always price match if it's not Best Buy who has the sale.

This is what I've been waiting for since season 1 came out as an individual release.

I really hope it sells well, cuz I know I was waiting for an all encompassing set before I purchased anything HD upgraded. And the fact that the individual releases didn't sell enough to warrant a DS9 HD upgrade makes me hope that there are other fans who were waiting for this as well.

Wouldn't this be like 20 discs for the first 4 seasons? What's the largest blu-ray case? I've only seen up to 12 disc case.

Seriously hoping it isn't sleeves or some other nonsense. I hope they don't screw this up somehow, but seems like "complete series" is a struggle for so many companies to get right. Don't know why they make it so, they could basically just stick the individual releases inside a decently sturdy box and most people would be happy.

It is kind of unusual that it hasn't come down significantly like the others, but check the price tracking. It was $57.99 during its initial week of release, and even returned to that price during the first two months of 2015.

Yeah, that's gotta be a CBS thing. Recently at Walmart I saw a Criminal Minds collection that had the first four seasons in one big case. And their complete series of Ghost Whisperer is seasons 1-4 in a single large case and season 5 in a standard keep case, housed in a cardboard box.

I'd love if this was just the individual seasons inside the box.
