Default Bill Schnee 24/192 recordings Blu-ray?

Maybe you've read about Bill Schnee's new 24/192 recordings a'la Sheffield Lab
(live to two-track) that's recently been used as demo material at CES and other places.

Now I've found out that one of things he's recorded is the album of a newly formed group called Open Hands.
http://www.openhandsmusic.net/buy_music

I was thrilled to read about this because they are almost the same members as in one of my favourite jazz/fusion groups Koinonia. Abraham Laboriel (bass) among others.

Still only available on CD but who knows...

On their homepage you can read the following:
About the CD

The Open Hands CD was recorded completely live at Schnee Studio in North Hollywood, California by Grammy and Emmy Award winning engineer Bill Schnee.

It was recorded with Schnee's custom built all discrete console with tube mic pre amps, tube mixing buss, and the best vintage and custom tube microphones ever made.

The most unique technical aspect of the CD is that it was recorded directly to a two track 192/24 digital recorder. This means that in addition to the fact that there were no overdubs by the band, the final stereo mix was done as the band performed each track!

Also, this was new music that the band had never rehearsed or performed before. Most of the songs are actually first takes.

The CD was mastered directly from these 192/24 masters. The combination of these elements give the listener not only a great increase in audio fidelity, but also a true “Performance” experience in every track.

Schnee and veteran mastering great Doug Sax are working to get the world to adopt a new HiFi audio format - perhaps on Blu-ray - in this 192/24 platform.

At the Audio Engineer Society Show in San Francisco this October, The ATC speaker company based their presence there with several of Schnee's live-to-two track recordings (including Open Hands) in the 192/24 format.

The recordings were met with great acclaim from many of the best "ears" in the recording industry.
On grammy.com I found this article:
http://www.grammy.com/news/a-blu-level
Two-time GRAMMY Award winner Bill Schnee, who has engineered and mixed artists including Steely Dan, Chicago and Natalie Cole, is in discussions with a leading independent record label to launch a Blu-ray-based imprint in the United States. Schnee believes Blu-ray's potential is significant thanks to the growing base of multichannel home theater sound systems that create a pathway for multichannel music into consumers' homes.
I wonder what label that might be. Blu-ray-based imprint?
Nice that someone's trying. I wish them the best of luck.
