I received a damaged movie, What should I do?

got my BSG: The Plan in today. has a dent on the top right in the blu band. doesn't look as bad in this pic because of the angle.

Yes, they will probably send you another one at no charge or get some money back at least for the damage. BTW, it is a sweet looking SteelBook

yes, it is a nice looking steelbook. no artwork or anything on the inside, but still nice. i did contact them about the damage, so waiting to see what they say. i think it was already damaged before they shipped it, because there were no signs of damage on the cardboard package it was shipped in.

here's a couple more pics of the damage from different angles. i know steelbooks are prone to get dented and dinged in shipping, but IMO, this is enough to warrant actually contacting them to see what course of action they might want to take.

Generally if I have issues I contact Amazon directly via the contact page. They respond rather fast and with a remedy to my problem

Amazon appears to use some pricing formula on determining how they handle a problem like damage during transit. Depending on the value of the item, they usually offer a percentage discount off your original price to keep the damaged item, or have you return the item and receive a second copy.
