Need Advice On Dalhquist Speakers

Hi all! Found a pair of Dalhquist DQ-20's for sale locally. The guy is asking $340 for the pair and they appear to be in perfect condition. I've read a few of the Agoners rave about the sound of these speakers, but I have never heard them. Looking for advice about these, particularly about the price. Thanks

Anything under $700 or so is a good deal.

If you have to replace woofers etc.... don't pay more than $400

Since he's asking $340 and you said they look 'perfect', if they, in fact are "perfect" I'd offer $300, and if he's not willing to lower, just give the whole $340, and know that you walked away with one heck of a steal.....

O.K. guys, I picked up a pair of DQ-20's yesterday for $300. They are in amazingly good condition and sound terrific. Something to be said of vintage (near vintage) speakers.

You had it right the first time they are vintage speakers!!!! Welcome to the rare and lonely vintage club!!!! Wonderful pick up ! Naturephoto has DQ-10's and I have seen a HT system that used 3 DQ-10's upfront....nice.
