Couldn't see a thread for this BBC series, just picked it up for £11 from amazon, the PQ is AMAZING and its a great series too. Highly recommended for anyone who likes nature films etc.

Could a mod perhaps add "BBC series" to the title, as there is the musical South Pacific.

No it's narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch who played Sherlock in the recent series. He has a good voice for narration.

It's well worth it, I'm loving it. The shots across a blue pacific with all the little islands are just magical, and its really interesting too.

I agree, I've got Planet Earth, Wild China, Earth, Nature's Great Events and Galapagos and love them all (tho Galapagos is probably the worst).

As for this one, there's a fair amount of animals in it, both in the sea and living on the little islands, it also covers the people who live there, all their fishing and stuff, really fascinating and a joy to watch in HD. The PQ is on a par with anything I've seen on blu.
