Catastrophe with the Sammy BD-UP5000!

I don't know if you guys are aware of that, but in order to play the Blu-ray of Avatar on your 5000, you need to update the firmware to version 1.5

And yes, it does work after you do the update.

That's right, you're in the loop now, your player is regressing backwards!

...And this is only the beginning of your problems too!!!

Anyway, so far the Blu-ray titles that you CANNOT LONGER PLAY are (all FOX titles):

1. Behind Enemy Lines
2. Cast Away (black screen of death!)
3. Die Hard
4. Die Hard 2: Die Harder
5. Die Hard 3: Die with a Vengeance
6. Ice Age (black screen of death!)
7. I Robot
8. Man on Fire
9. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
10. Mr. & Mrs. Smith
11. Planet of the Apes (1968)
12. Speed
13. Sunshine

And this one from Disney:

14. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

*** All of these titles are stuck in the background menu loop without access to the Main menu, and are then NOT ABLE to play these Blu-ray discs NO MORE!!!
And titles #2 & #6 are simply stuck in a black empty screen!

Now this is only the beginning, there are probably more titles that CANNOT play also. But I'm working on it, as I own a lot of other FOX Blu-ray titles.
Meanwhile, I would ask to all owners of the Samsung BD-UP5000 Duo HD player to check with their FOX Blu-ray titles too (not those ones already mentioned here as they simply won't play, but you can always double check if you don't believe me).

And I will add these newer UNPLAYABLE Blu-ray discs to this list here.
And please, call Samsung and let them know, because only them can help you at this point.

Without your help, this (your) player is CAPUT, FUBAR!
