DWR Living Room Theater

I'm new here so I figured I'd post my system here in the Gallery. I am more into 2 channel music listening, but I like the movies to sound real good too so I combined the two and this is where the system is at now after almost 10 years of evolving.

Speakers: Front, Geddes Abbey 12A these are 12" CD Waveguides; Center, Def Tech 2002; Rears, Def Tech Mythos 1.

Subs: 6 total all DIY. 4 are used in conjunction with the Abbeys so they play full range. They are 1 18" Maelsrom X sealed; 1 15" Dayton Titanic MK III sealed; and 2 12" peerless sealed. The other 2 subs are for LFE H/T they are 15" Dayton Titanic MK III with Exodus Audio 18" passive radiators these 2 subs are tuned to 17Hz.

Amps: Rotel RMB-1075 powering the center and rears; Wyred4Sound ST-500 powering the fronts; Parasound HCA-1200 bridged powering one of the Peerless subs; 3 Behringer EP-4000 powering the rest of the subs, one bridged for the Maelstrom X sub.

Preamps: Rotel RSP-1068 for the 5.1 H/T; Conrad Johnson PV-14 modified by RHB Sound Dezign for 2 channel music listening, this unit has a nice H/T bypass on it. Aural Thrills 274-B rectified 12ax7 phono preamp.

Disc Player: Oppo 83SE modified by Mod Wright Instruments (2 channel analog tube mod)

DAC: Paradisea+ used with an older Mac I-book G-4 500 cds burned with apple lossless.

Turn Table: VPI Scoutmaster with a JMW Memorial 9" arm and a Dynavector Karrat 17D2 cartridge.

Sub management: Behringer DCX-2496 for the 4 subs and a Reckhorn B-1 for the 2 LFE subs.

Power management: Panamax 5500 AC Regenerator, and a Monster HTS-3500.

Video: Directv HD receiver, TV Panasonic TC-P58V10 58" Plasma.

Cables: Multi channel is all Audioquest King Cobra. 2 channel I.C. are Clear Day Cable Silver, Speaker cables for the fronts are Clear Day Cable Silver, the rest are AR 12Ga ofc copper. Power cords are an assortment from different manufacturers nothing expensive.

The rack and speaker stands are DIY.
