Is The Sherlock Holmes Digital Copy Working For Anyone?

Hi,

Play delivered my Sherlock Holmes BD over the weekend; included with it was a code for a digital copy. I've since tried to redeem it in iTMS, but I get this message, "The code is for an offer not yet available. It cannot be used yet."

To make matters worse, Apple have referred me to WB, and the WB digital copy site has an error that doesn't allow the support form to be submitted. Nice.

Has anyone successfully downloaded their copy Sherlock Holmes from iTMS?

Other then that, impressed with the BD copy.....

Was it prior to release date? If so, did you read the attached paperwork? Only reason I ask is it normally says something like "Offer commences 00:01 on 17/05/2010 and expires XX/XX/XXXX". If you try to access the site prior to then then it doesn't normally exist. As you mentioned you got this on the weekend and the official release date was 17/05/2010 IIRC then this may be the cause.

True Blood S2 here in Australia offered downloads also (Warner released this title too). It's release is the 19th here in Australia and so testing the site shows an error message at the moment.

Perhaps try now as I believe it will be after midnight on release day if I'm calculating time zones correctly (assuming you haven't just tried again).

That was my original thought, so I waited until last night. Same thing.

Haven't had a good experience with WB's digital copies....

Hmm, sounds like a web site problem then. I imagine that might get more attention as people receive their orders and start to provide feedback on the situation.

i got my copy last friday and redeemed the digital copy for windows media same day with no issue.

might be disk says uk only for itunes. I assume you are UK based
altho they say that on the US blu's too and I just select I was from the USA and the digital copy worked

Yup, tis a UK copy. I've sent another request to Apple support, asking them to look further into it. It would appear the code is valid....

OK, all sorted. I had one last try this morning, and the code works.

Worked fine for me. I'd return it and get a different copy.

After mailing Apple and WB, I was able to download the digital copy from iTunes....
