Default Killer is Dead

Anyone else have this?

I'm finding some things frustratingly hard (on Hard). Main story episodes are hard, but so far manageable, at least up to a pathetic episode 4. Yes, I've been playing for hours and have only finished episode 4. But I am getting slaughtered, or at least humiliated in the Mondo girl challenges, including the flirting. They are timed, and I think there is something to them that I am missing, because I can't even come close.

Just gotta say someone is missing out. This is a fun game. A bit short, maybe. Combat is good. You should try this out when it gets to your price range. I'm challenged, but I'm sure some of you would find it easy.

You should know I got it! I love Suda 51 games. It's a totally a different game but still reminds me a lot of Shadow's of the Damned. I started on Normal though. If it looks like there is only three difficulties I usually start on Normal so I can play though again.

I haven't had trouble with the Mondo girls. You just need to make sure you have enough gifts to get their heart gauge full. Once you do you unlock another mode for your arm.

Want it, but right now my priority is buying Hatsune Miku Project Diva F.

I figured that out. Now I just run out of money to buy gifts. Scarlett challenges I find almost impossible though. Only finished 4 of them. Playing hard and just finished episode 9. It's tough the first time through, because you don't know, if there is a real boss, and you can't tell where checkpoints are. I end up starting levels over, because I use a Mika ticket too early. You kind of need to, just to see what you have to plan for. I always try to play hard difficulty first. That makes additional games at lower settings pretty relaxing. Of course for a platinum this game will take 4 times through, but with the ability to skip cutscenes, it should be fine.

Yeah, I unlocked a few of the Scarlet challenges and tried. I was like there is no way. I'm guessing you need to be fully upgraded. One you needed to defeat all the Wires with maces and kill only the Wires with guns. I couldn't even defeat them fast enough.

I just finished the Chapter where you fight Yamada Hama or was it Hamada Yama, haha. I think it was Episode 8.

I haven't really looked at the trophies that closely. It requires for playthroughs? Is it like Shadows where you had to play each difficulty seperately?

Yes, that is how it is.

Beat the game on hard tonight. It unlocks chapter select, which is nice, anyway. I'll probably try to beat all the Scarlett challenges and side missions on Easy. The timed missions are just hard. Lots of fun things left to do.

The new forum arrangement creeped me out. I couldn't find the PS3 section.

So, you going for platinum. This $100 million trophy will be an insane grind. I finished hard, almost finished normal and did a bunch of easy missions to earn a few AAA's, and I only have about $16 million on hand. I wanted to use the costumes for very hard, but I think I'll just suck it up and play it naked, now, instead of spending $25 million for Ulti-mondo and the infinite blood arm.

I mainly bought it for the Akira Yamaoka cd . suda 51 I'm so hmmm about. I adored Lollipop Chainsaw. No more heroes Ithought was boring. Shadows if the Damned was fine but iI played it for a bit and then just forgotall about it.

So I will be done with this game tonight more than likely, completely.

But some observations.

First, Mondo only eats soft boiled eggs. The game even comes with directions for cooking perfect soft boiled eggs. But he is only seen eating eggs sunny side up, while at the same time complaining that they are not over easy. Big, big screwup.

Second, It's either Natalia or Betty that he takes back to his place after winning her heart. His place is a small boat. But aren't Mika and Moon River supposed to be staying with him? Are they really just on the other side of the door while that action is taking place?
