Arcam recently released its newest flagship receiver the AVR 750. 7 ch driven 100 WPC at 8 ohms, 2 ch driven 1KHZ 120 WPC 8 ohms, 7 HDMI inputs/2 HDMI outputs.

Arcam 750 impressions.

Yup indeed we had posed comments ab out the 750 prior to their release in the AVR600 thread if i am not mistaken, but you are rigt Canada, the 750s are officially out .

I am sure it will perform like no other

I mean the quality of the binding posts on this unit seem nothing less than outstanding.

Default Arcam AVR 750 on the way.

I have been the proud owner of the Arcam AVR 600 since it came out. Have not had a chance to update my signature here. I justpurchased the Sony XBR-65X900A,which should be here next week, my HX929 will be moved to another room, since I upgraded my tv, I had to go and upgrade my receiver. I like to keep up to date on all the latest stuff out there. I can't wait to get everything all hooked up. When I do I will post a few pics and review.

congrats on the AVR upgrade. I keep thinking to myself, If I upgrade AVRs one day should I try the Arcam 380/450? might have to... but the anthems look nice too. we'll see one day

looks like youre going to get some Dynaudios next huh? which Focus are you looking into? I love the 160/210C combo I have with my setup.

I am thinking of going with the 340 and 210C. I also want a rear channel, what do you thing about using the 160 on stands? I don't even know if you can hang these on the wall. Speaker upgrade will be the last piece of my puzzle. How long have you had the Focus? John

Guess what, the stuff that you just bought is already obsolete. Its hard to keep up with the latest stuff. For example, everyone waiting to jump to 4K TV, 8K TV is already set to make 4K obsolete.

All the so-called latest stuff sometimes isn't worth it. So be thoughtful, practical on how you spend your money.
