Nice topic.

Blair Witch is one for me too.
All the Walt Disney amimated classics get a bad rap. I don't know why.

Ultraviolet. I loved it even bought the DVD. I am still given a hard time by most of my friends for that one

Movies I love but most others hate, huh? Hmmm. How about The Happening? No, no, I didn't love that, didn't even like it much. I guess Starship Troopers and Cloverfield sound pretty good, though most of my friends enjoyed them (but I saw some dislike for them here now & again).

Is it so bad that I absolutely thought Lady in the Water was a great movie? I did like cloverfield and blair witch, and Starship Troopers. I get a lot of flack from people who just don't get it that I absolutely love Army of Darkness.

hah only the 10th time someone has asked this.......but no worries, crim
i always enjoy posting my list in the hopes someone else comes along that loves them too

-rocketeer (don't know why it didn't do well in the BO...i think it rocks just as much now as when i was a kid)
-hulk (don't LOVE it, but liked it a lot more than the new version which was just a cgi crap-fest with a lot less character development imo)
-hollywoodland (because im a superman fan so i probably enjoyed it more than the average moviegoer)
-ice harvest (oliver platt enough said)

i definitely didn't hate lady in the water. and even with the happening i really respect m night shamalala because he attempts to write, produce, and direct original work. i'm so tired of remakes and sequels that i praise anyone who puts effort into original story-based movies.

No kidding. Only problem some of the movies in that listed are widely loved, and I am sure some people out there don't like them but not enough to fit everyone else seems to hate them.

You guys. No Country doesn't count! It won best picture and got ridiculously good reviews. Everyone liked it! There are only a few very vocal people on forums who didn't. Same thing with Return of the King, best picture again (I think?).
I'm trying to think of some that I liked and "everyone else" hated...hard to do though. I must just have really good taste
J/K!

No offense to your self i haven't seen any posts from you that would lead me to that conclusion.

But as to the original poster how many movies have you seen

Fair enough ppl have there own tastes and you can see that from the list i posted.

But there's a fine line between taste and you just haven't watched a lot of movies.

While the emmmmm.......3 films you listed i like i hardly call them works of great cinematic art.

I guess all i can say is get a blockbuster card lol

What the hell? Did you even understand the purpose of the topic? I mean, you listed movies like Godfather 1 and 2 and Pulp Fiction and many many others that are widely liked.
